North Texas has finished better (and normally 50+ spots better) than Temple in KenPom for the last 5 years

And your shopping district is currently a top 75 team while your everybody knows them is 200+. Temple has one winning season since Dunphy left. UNT hasn't had a losing record in that same time period.

You only care about name recognition and not how good teams actually are? I expected a loss to UNT. Wasn't happy with how we played, but the loss shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that pays the least bit of attention to college basketball.

Everybody cares about name recognition except those without any. The "Name Recognition" schools are currently seceding from the NCAA we used to know.

I would categorize us as an occasional name recognition school. We REALLY **** the bed with Marshall. I'd say there's a less than 30% chance we ever get back to that level.

Please don't try to get me excited about a shopping district in Texas. I don't care what they are currently ranked. They are NOT a top 75 team. They probably aren't even a top 250 team.

Confirmed. Cold would rather play name schools that suck ass than schools some of the ignorant don't know about but are good.

I suppose a schedule that included teams like Louisville (263), Notre Dame (172), West Virginia (175), Georgetown (213), Cal (180), and UCLA (174) would be better than Florida Atlantic (26), North Texas (69), Charlotte (104), Colorado State (19), Utah State (25), and Grand Canyon (37).

Because name recognition is the only thing that matters at all...

Other non-name schools that would be better than Temple and the others listed above include ,McNeese (54), James Madison (56), George Mason (58), St. Bonaventure (64), UC Irvine (76), Liberty (78), Weber State (81), Akron (88), Duquesne (90), Louisiana Tech (94), College of Charleston (99) and I could keep going.

All teams that would be better wins and less embarrassing losses than some of those named teams you cream your jeans over.
